Gender Inclusive Restrooms

Finding the Gender Inclusive Restrooms at the University of Kansas

The Center for Sexuality and Gender Diversity and its campus partners have worked to provide more single-use, gender inclusive restrooms on the KU campus. Its goal is to offer safe and comfortable places for members of the campus community to use the restroom. The Center is particularly concerned in offering these restrooms to those individuals who are transgender, gender nonconforming, queer, those with disabilities who have an attendant of a different sex/ gender, and parents with young children of another sex/ gender.

As friends and partners of the Center for Sexuality and Gender Diversity, the Emily Taylor Center for Women & Gender Equity supports these efforts and wants to make locating these restrooms as streamline as possible.

To find out more about gender inclusive restrooms, please check out the Center for Sexuality and Gender Diversity website
