Lactation Stations

Are you a nursing mother on campus in need of a private place to use a breast pump or to nurse your baby? Here are some places on campus that have space available. Please note that they will do their best to work with you to meet your needs but availability cannot be guaranteed.

While some women prefer to nurse their babies in a private, quiet, distraction-free environment, it is important to stress that this is a choice, not a requirement. Kansas law (K.S.A. 43-158) gives women the legal right to nurse her baby in public. Visit La Leche League International for specific, detailed information.
