Our free hands-on self-defense workshops — facilitated by a woman instructor affiliated with our long standing partner Premier Martial Arts — are presented from a holistic framework, emphasizing both physical and psychological self-defense techniques, in a safe and friendly environment.
Our workshops are open to KU students, staff, and faculty as well as members of the Lawrence community of all gender identities. No prior martial arts experience is necessary. Please wear comfortable clothes and athletic shoes.
