WiSTEMM Mentee Application (Undergraduate Students)

The Women in STEMM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics, and Medicine) Mentoring Program (WiSTEMM) is an interdisciplinary program open to all undergraduate and graduate women in STEMM fields. The program will focus on providing resources, guidance, and support in order to enhance the personal, educational, and professional development skills that will help women excel in their STEMM careers at the University of Kansas. WiSTEMM was started in the spring of 2018 as is the result of a partnership with Jayhawks Breaking Barriers.

Each undergraduate mentee will be matched with a graduate student mentor for the 2018-2019 academic year. The mentor and mentee pairs will be expected to meet for a minimum of 2 hours per month, as well as attend several group events including professional development and personal wellness workshops, panels, and social events. Check out our schedule of events for the fall semester here.

We encourage you to apply to be a part of this rewarding program! Fill out this application to participate in WiSTEMM as a mentee during the 2018-2019 academic year. Please contact emilytaylorcenter@ku.eduwith any questions.
