Ann Eversole, Assistant Vice Provost for Student Success, has served the University of Kansas for over twenty-five years. As Assistant Vice Provost she shares responsibilities in monitoring the quality of the campus environment and the promotion of student development through a program of co-curricular activities and services for students. She also shares responsibilities for policy development, implementation, supervision and coordination of campus emergencies.
Prior to coming to the University of Kansas, Dr. Eversole was Assistant Dean of Women at Emporia State University. Dr. Eversole has extensive experience in the area of student housing, Greek Life, undergraduate program development and for fifteen years was Director of the Student Organizations and Leadership Development Center at KU. She has chaired numerous university-wide Committees and Task Forces and was instrumental in the development of the interdisciplinary Minor in Leadership Studies. She is the author of numerous university policy statements.
Dr. Eversole is an active member of the National Association of Student Personnel Administrators. She has served on the NASPA IV-West Advisory Board as Regional Awards Coordinator and Fraternity-Sorority Network Chair. She is a member of the Emily Taylor Women's Center Advisory Board and has been inducted into the University of Kansas Women's Hall of Fame. Dr. Eversole has been named University of Kansas Employee of the year and she is the long-time adviser of Rock Chalk Revue. In the Lawrence Community she has worked with the Douglas County United Way and the Penn House Advisory board (a non-profit corporation serving low-income families). She served on the Board of Directors of the Emporia State University Alumni Association.
Ann Eversole received her Ed.D. in Educational Policy and Administration from the University of Kansas and her Master of Science and Bachelors of Arts degrees from Emporia State University.
